After her mother dies, 10-year-old, grieving but spunky Nika wants her heart-broken father back.
She wishes an ideal version of him and to her surprise it comes true!
She creates an imaginary world of paper then cardboard, to deal with her emotions
as she leads her father on a wild adventure to heal his broken halves back together.
But the magic ends up failing, and Nika learns she and her father must lean on each other
to grieve and heal themselves.
